i can’t remember when i first created this site – but it was probably around 2000-2001. this was my first ever domain name, back when it was assumed anything .org was a reputable organization, so it was kindof a thrill to have my own definitely not reputable and not organized spot on the web.

this place was used for completely random post-highschool crap, none of it really worth saving, so i ended up letting the domain registration lapse. years went on and squatters had claimed the domain name but tried selling it to me for way too much money.

a few months ago i randomly checked to see if it was available and to my surprise it was! so i snatched it up and figured i’d decide what to do with it later.

well, now it’s later and i thought it’d be fun to basically pay homage to the old site as best i could without any expectations of quality. there’s gonna be random crap here, for sure. the charm of the web, pre-facebook, pre-corporate takeover, was that there was tons of content out there from people who were making it just for the sake of making it. lots of it was cringey and my site(s) absolutely fell into that category. but the weblog/website scene was really cool and i don’t know that it could be captured the same way ever again.
