Analog Transmissions (2024)

Analog Transmissions is a short series of photos where the vantage point of the photo is clearly within a car. A remarkably high percentage of my photographs are actually taken from the driver’s seat of my car; however, the vast majority try to obscure that fact. Well, these don’t. I liked the idea of making a zine about cars that doesn’t have much to do with cars at all (aside from, y’know, being in one).

This is a shorter zine than my earlier ones, and in a new size format as well. Think of it like an EP between full-length albums. No grand artistic statement, it’s simply photos in cars that I happen to like.

Fragments of Another Life (2023)

This zine is a selection of photographs taken between the years of 2000 – 2004, in that weird era just before digital cameras took over. A project of documenting these formative years of navigating early adulthood – full of the kind of personal growth and failure that molds you into the person you eventually become.

Looking back at this period it sometimes feels so far removed that I might in fact be remembering another person’s life, like a character in a story. Other times I feel so close that a simple song or random memory can transport me right back – as if I’d wake up in the twin size bed under the window at my old apartment and nothing would have changed.

Size: A5 (5.8″ x 8.3″)
36 pages, 100lb Satin Text
Cover: Full-color printing (front and back), Gloss Lamination (outside), 100lb Satin Cover

Photos were shot on a variety of cameras and film stocks, most notably:
– Pentax K-1000
– Nikon F75
– Kodak Cameo EX
– Polaroid 660
– Polaroid i-Zone

Suburban Detritus (2021)

This was my first time doing any sort of publication and the process of going from concept to photo sequencing, learning InDesign, and eventually getting a physical copy was immensely enjoyable. Finally sending it out into the world now is both nerve wracking and exciting.

All of these photos were shot during the ongoing virus season of 2021. Since getting out and about was much more difficult (even now) I decided to document the weird, discarded and forgotten fragments of suburban life whilst going out for walks in & around my neighborhood.
